November 2019 Conference Personality in the context of cognition, emotionality and motivation

(venue: Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, Comenius University, Bratislava)

Colleagues from the diagnostic team attended the conference, “Personality in the context of cognition, emotionality and motivation. The aim of the conference was to exchange experiences between experts in the field of theory, basic and applied psychological research, as well as to link theory and practice in terms of experimental and empirical experience.

 

October 2019 Workshop Use of ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) in the Selectivity of Food Intake “within the project” Let’s not wait for a miracle “supported by the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic in 2019

From 22 to 25 October 2019, a 35-hour workshop for experts was held at the Academic Center for Autism Research, Institute of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Bratislava (LF UK) entitled “The use of ABA (applied behavioral analysis) in food selectivity”.

The lecturer was Roseanne Lesack, Ph.D .; BCBA-D; ABPP, who is the director of the Unicorn Children’s Foundation Clinic at Nova Southeastern University, Florida, USA.

The workshop focused on interventions for pediatric eating disorders (complete or partial rejection of food or whole food groups).

The implementation of the workshop was possible thanks to the subsidy obtained from the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, within the call focused on the support of mental health for 2019

MUDr. Anges Daldegan Balduino,as a nutritionist in Brazil, participated in the creation of a program of nutritional re-education of children diagnosed with ADHD. the topic of her lecture was a successful nutritional intervention in 7 and 8 year old children with dg. ADHD and nutritional education as a tool to help families of children with ADHD.
