The disease di<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">srupts the mechanisms of social learning and also affects <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">cognitive development through social communication defi<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">cits. Presence or absence of Intellectual Disability is conside<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">red to be the most serious factor affecting the future functio<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ning of individuals with autism spectrum disorder, so it is <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">important to focus on it. Particular abilities and deficits arise <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">from disrupted development of theory of mind, which reflects <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">in disruption of speech development, symbolic play, in under<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">standing of social situations and in adequacy of responses to <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">changing circumstances. Likewise, there are specific disrup<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">tions in executive functions such as decreased processing <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">speed, concentration of attention, memory capacity, learning <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ability, mental flexibility and fluency.
